I struggled with quitting for years – now I’m conscious of NOT quitting but instead pressing through the obstacles and gleaning all the lessons along the way! My, my, my, how I’ve grown!
Let me tell you something about me: I’m a quitter. I’m not proud of it, but if I’m being honest with myself, that’s exactly what I am. I start things and I don’t finish. I quit when I get bored, when things don’t go my way, when it becomes difficult to continue. Basically if there is any sort of road block in me finishing something, I throw in the towel.
School always came easily to me. I’m not sure why, it just did. I never really had to study, often didn’t pay attention in class, and yet graduated as Salutatorian. In college, it really wasn’t any different. Math and science classes presented challenges for me, but majoring in the Humanities prevented me from needing to take anything but the basics in those subject areas.
