A2Z2016 – Love?

I imagine this must be the most popular ‘L’ in the A to Z Challenge.  LOVE is universal, transcending race, ethnicity, and origin…we couldn’t exist without it – mind, body, soul, and spirit.

According to Dictionary.com, LOVE has so many meanings:

1. tenderness, fondness, predilection, warmth, passion, adoration. 1, 2. Love, affection, devotion all mean a deep and enduring emotional regard, usually for another person. Love may apply to various kinds of regard: the charity of the Creator, reverent adoration toward God or toward a person, the relation of parent and child, the regard of friends for each other, romantic feelings for another person, etc. Affection is a fondness for others that is enduring and tender, but calm. Devotion is an intense love and steadfast, enduring loyalty to a person; it may also imply consecration to a cause. 2. liking, inclination, regard, friendliness. 15. like. 16. adore, adulate, worship.

  1. I just watched a documentary about the dark net and technology. In Japan there is a girlfriend app called “Rinko love plus”, their are thousands of young men choosing to date this virtual mate. Many are actually falling in love with the virtual girlfriend. This freaked me out, not because of the technology but because it is scary to think that the desire for human companionship might be a thing of the past (in the future)…
