I’m so mindful of the fact that there are many mistakes of my past that I’m yet to forgive. It’s a process.
I’m reblogging this poem by Ana Daksina because it deeply resonates with me.
There were things I didn’t know
There were things I didn’t see
There was pressing circumstance
Which took priority
Tried to make myself into
What others told me I should be
So made some promises which had
No basis in reality
Mine errors me much wisdom give
Though wish I might my harm undo
Till I learn myself to forgive
I’ll never learn to forgive you
