My Truth 365_60 – Diagnosis: Pneumonia

Pneumonia Bacteria

Today is March 8th and it is my second day back to work.

Yesterday was my first day back and I was exhausted. For the last several days I have been very ill. I haven’t blogged, posted in social media, or held telephone conversations except with my mother. This was a time of great reflection for me.

I strongly believe that your body communicates with your mind and vice versa. My body has expressed a lot over the last few days. In spite of all that I may find a priority, I recognize that if your health is not right none of that matters. Anything can happen at any time to slow you down or stop you in your tracks. Peace and blessings,

  1. Dear Davina, this poet has been forced into bedrest for many, many hours ofher life. So many great writers have. It’s clear you’ve used your time well, and more than well. Please don’t push yourself more than you have to — for longer than you want to. From experience I can tell you it will affect you quality of life both short and long term if you do. I know it’s a temptation to want to get back to life as you’ve known it. Give yourself the gift of patience, on behalf of all of us your readers. Much love to you!
